About Me

As a lifelong artist, I have been painting, making, and creating for as long as I can remember. I came in to theatre through my love of the visual arts, with my interests in painting sculpture translating well to designing and creating scenery, props, and other visual elements of theatre.

I am especially interested in secondhand materials, creating works that incorporate materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. This interest in environmentally conscious artwork is accompanied by a secondary career working with an environmental nonprofit.

My design style leans towards the maximalist - I am interested in abundance, repetition, intentional clashing of color, shapes, and textures to create visually busy and interesting pieces. My love of items, things, and the importance of the unimportant draw me to props design and utilizing props in scenic spaces. I love scale, vastness, and spectacle, lending well to my particular interest in scenery for opera.

I graduated from Boston University in 2021 with a BFA in Technical Production. I currently reside in Boston, Massachusetts working out of my home studio along with my cats.
